What a brilliant question. How do we measure the depth of feelings....First I must say that I belive in the MYSTERY of GREAT LOVE.
We can LOVE so much for so long even though it seems unreasonable.
Thus, we cannot measure love quantitatively. It is a qualitative thing. Even that does not explain it. It is a heavenly thing. LOVE comes from heaven. And so I think we cannot measure it by human mathematical standards.
If I am willing to die for someone or willing to suffer for someone, it is a measure of my love.
The key is in the word.. willing.
Care is giving someone love constantly. In many small ways. Being there always when we are needed.
Care is more valuable than anything money can buy.
Love is priceless.
Thank you for helping me to think about this.
